Description
Kibron LayerX (90) is a precision dip coating equipment for the deposition of thin films on different substrates. It can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into the Kibron MicrotroughG environment (Breadboard std). The LayerX is interfaced and powered via a USB connection and is controlled by a dedicated MSWindows software. The software has a wide range of ready commands as well as a script language for programming. The software also interfaces to the Microtrough control electronics for event based control – you can for example detect when the substrate touches the liquid surface by following the surface pressure sensor and subsequently change operation of the dipper.
The base support has M6 mounting holes for anchoring on the Microtrough G1, G2 and G4 baseplates, or on standard optical breadboard. The dipper is delivered with clamps for both Langmuir-Blodgett and Langmuir-Schaeffer deposition.
Various clamps and arms are available here.
