This custom-built Langmuir trough is a specialized instrument designed in two main components to maximize flexibility and adaptability. The primary component is a large, threaded aluminum baseplate with multiple mounting points, allowing the integration of various accessories. The second, smaller component is the Langmuir trough itself, which can be conveniently embedded into the baseplate or detached for independent use.
